Charleston Light Tackle Trip

Head out on South Carolina’s lowcountry tidal flats for an epic fishing adventure with your guide, Captain Ryan. He loves fishing this beautiful area, and knows the water like the back of his hand.

The inshore water here is famous for its Redfish, Flounder, and Speckled Trout, which congregate in the backwaters here to hunt for crabs, shrimp, baitfish, and other forage. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to sight cast directly to tailing Reds on the flats, or to practice your cast-and-retrieve techniques while looking for Flounder.
All of these fish are a real blast to hook up, and are a great time for anglers of all levels. Plus, Redfish are top-notch table fare as well!

You’ll get after it aboard Captain Ryan’s 18′ Maverick HPX-S skiff, a perfect craft for fishing shallow backwater areas. She runs a 70-HP Yamaha outboard, and has a bunch of gear and amenities to enhance your trip. The fish are biting—what are you waiting for?!
