About this Property

ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY BOAT. Paradise on the ICW / Waterway! The White House on Goat Island,SC (across from Isle of Palms) is only accessible by boat and a sanctuary for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life yet only minutes away from fine dining, fishing tours, jet ski rentals, parasailing, and more. Enjoy your day sitting on the screened in porch or fishing from the dock watching dolphins. A charming 4 bedroom/3 bath fully equipped house that offers a getaway you will always remember! Wifi network.
Starting April 15 through the season DNR will set up a no wake zone.
Check In/ Check Out Procedures
Rules and General Information
1. No Smoking
2. No Pets
3. Check in time is 4 pm
4. Check out time is 10 am
5. Microwave and dishwasher are on the same ground fault protector. If not working, press
button on ground fault protector to the right of the sink.
6. Mooring Buoy off the floating dock works well to keep boat off dock from wakes.
7. Do not leave the swim ladder down, secure up when not using.
8. 11pm quiet time on the Island (be considerate).
Water/Septic
1. Water is from a well – Do Not use for drinking – Use bottled water for drinking, cooking and for brushing teeth
2. There is a water bottle pump for large Primo water bottles and a plastic extension piece (when changing from 3 gallon to 5 gallon primo bottles). Please keep together so usable by all guests.
3. Well water can cause spots on glasses even though clean. Use Lemme shine in the main compartment of dishwasher and the dishwasher detergent in the prewash department for best results. Lemme Shine is under the sink.
4. The house is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilets. Non- biodegradable products can lead to problems with the septic tank. No gum, no q tips, not paper towels, no sanitary products in the toilet please! These should go in trash can.
5. Do not put anything down sink – no oil, grease or bits of food. These will cause problems with the septic tank.
6. Conserve water. Remember you are on an island. Excess water usage will limit the amount of time the septic tank has to breakdown solid wastes.
Checkout check list:
1. All trash and recyclables must be taken with you when you leave. This is critically important being on an island.
2. All dirty dishes must be washed or put in dishwasher. Dishwasher must be run and cycle completed before leaving. It is very important being on an island not to leave dirty dishes with food residue.
3. Strip beds and leave all linens and towels in a pile in each room
4. Please leave USED Primo(large) water cooler type bottles (blue) in bottom of pantry as they are
recyclable when returned
5. Unplug counter top appliances
6. Ensure AC is turned up to 80 degrees upon departure in summer and heat is turned to 66
degrees in winter upon departure.
7. Bring cushions from porch inside house.
8. Make sure all items that belong to the house are brought in from boat, dock, deck and porch.
Any items from under the house that were used should be put back in place.
9. Double check that you have removed all personal belongings from property and dock.

10. Lock door and put key back in lockbox.
